Eric Mattson the assistant integrator/general manager at Kage Innovation. He joined KAGE 3 years ago after spending 10 years with Andersen Windows.
With 3 years of experience as a production worker, 7 years as a production lead and 2 years as a supervisor, Eric has worked on many projects. The main key to all of them was process efficiency. Eric finds from listening to process hinderances from the people on the floor, relaying them to management and then gathering the right team to collaborate and see the projects through.
Eric was also part of another team as well, but he prefers to call it a brotherhood – the United States Marine Corps. Eric spent 8 years serving in the USMC Reserve at Fort Snelling in Minnesota where he helped keep the 4th Law Enforcement Battalion in unit readiness as a supply administration and operations specialist (3043). His final rank was Sergeant as he exited the Marines with an honorable discharge.
One thing he holds to heart is taking care of those around him and listening to them. No one is below him, and he aspires to take care of those he represents above him.
Outside of his work life he enjoys being with his family, and watching football (He’s a Chicago Bear fan though.), and any leisure time is very much appreciated. Eric says one of his favorite things to do is absolutely nothing because that means everything is taken care of.
