Tractor Undercarriage w/Front 3-Pt Hitch

The 1200 Series Under-Hitch is designed for tractors that are roughly 12 feet long. If your tractor doesn’t fall exactly at that 12-foot mark, don’t worry, it is adjustable – from 126″ to 176″ front bumper to drawbar! The front 3-point hitch on this series allows for 28 inches of travel and extend 29 inches beyond the front bumper.

Typical Pivot Frame Pairing

The Under-Hitch 1200 series typically will be used with a front 3-point hitch lift arms connected which will be compatible with the 3 point pivot frames common to our SnowStorm Systems & SnowDozer Systems.

Most KAGE 1200 Series Under-Hitch systems will utilize the front three-point hitch lift arms.

The 1200 Series KAGE Under-Hitch typically will be paired with 3-point pivot frames like this one on the KAGE SnowStorm plow system.

The 8000 Series Under-Hitch is an undercarriage hitch system designed for tractors that are roughly 8 feet in length. It accommodates tractors that fall within a measurement range of 100″ to 150″ between the bumper and drawbar and offers more than 9 inches of ground clearance. The 3-point lift arm is optional, which provides more than 28″ inches of vertical travel for a KAGE SnowFire snow plow blade.

This series is compatible with the following KAGE plows:

• SnowFire 2-in-1 plow and pusher system (with direct hitch or CAT II 3-point hitch)
• SnowStorm 2-in-1 plow and pusher system (with the addition of optional lift arm and top link)
• SnowStorm BLAST snow pusher (with the addition of optional lift arm and top link)
• SnowDozer 2-in-1 plow and pusher system (with the addition of optional lift arm and top link)
• SnowDozer Wing hydraulic wing plow (with the addition of optional lift arm and top link)

Typical Pivot Frame Pairing

The Under-Hitch 8000 series typically will be used with direct hitch frames on SnowFire series plows. By eliminating the CAT II 3-point linkage, we are able to connect the SnowFire Direct Hitch Pivot Frame directly to the rockshaft pin that normally holds the lift arms and creates a much tighter plow upfit to the front of the tractor. While not as common, the front 3-point lift arms are also available as all series of the Under-Hitch can utilize the same front mount.

The 8000LD Series is our Light Duty Series. Like the 8000 Series, it is designed for roughly 8-foot-long tractors, but ones with less ground clearance. The 8000LD Series Under-Hitch is slightly lower profile to accommodate that and maintain maximum ground clearance. This tractor undercarriage accommodates a bumper to drawbar measurement range of 96″ to 116″ and offers approximately 10 inches of ground clearance.

Like the standard 8000 series, the Under-Hitch 8000LD series is most often used with direct hitch pivot frames – meaning no front 3-point lift arms. However, those same 3-point lift arms are available.
