Commercial Walk-Behind Mower Sulky
When building the Wheel Kaddy 500 Series Sulky attachment for commercial walk-behind mowers, durability and comfort were at the forefront of the design. Whether your clearing curb lines or mowing hillsides, a sulky attachment mounted to a walk-behind mower is the all-around most versatile setup on the market today. The Wheel Kaddy is best built and most comfortable sulky, too.
The Wheel Kaddy can mount to any walk-behind mower. We offer manufacturer-specific and universal mounting brackets to ensure proper fit with any machine. Moving down from the mounting bracket, the Wheel Kaddy is built with a quick release fitting that allows the operator to easily detach it from the mower and store it when necessary. No more pins getting lost in the grass.
The Toughest Mower Sulky Attachment on the Planet
Every Wheel Kaddy is built with automotive-grade parts such as the quick release system and the heavy-duty u-joints that allow for a more natural pivot. Every pivot point utilizes automotive needle bearings that will stand up to daily abuse and will outlast any of our competitor’s sulkies. The 360 Series can pivot 360 degrees. This makes it easier for the operator to step off the sulky and back the mower up.
While all our sulky mower attachments come standard with superior suspension capabilities, the 500 Series Wheel Kaddy is also fitted with 13” tires increase operator comfort. With the added height of these tires, running across curbs is a breeze.
The 3-piece wheel assembly makes it easy to change the tire - no special tire changing equipment is necessary. Another important feature is very wheel comes standard with tapered roller bearings that are also commonly used on highway trailers.
WHEEL KADDY Lawn Mower Sulkies
Like the 250 and 360 Series Wheel Kaddys, the 500 Series comes with the same heavy duty, stand-on platform. It’s designed to aid the operator’s stance both on level and sloped surface – an area where a walk-behind mower still reigns supreme. The operator can adjust the platform angle to work with any machine attachment and can also adjust to conform to the operator’s preferred stance for maximum comfort!
Walk-Behind Mowers Are Old Habit … or Are They?
Every new product we produce … heck, any new product any manufacturer produces will be met with skepticism. But it takes in-the-field experience to power through that skepticism. KAGE stands behind the walk-behind mower system (no pun intended) because of its versatility, EFFICIENCY and reliability.
There were competitors manufacturing the sulky before we started production of the Wheel Kaddy line, but what was missing was that same dependability that a walk-behind mower could deliver. The sulkies that were on the market would wear out quickly and when they were operable, still weren’t any easier on the operator causing fatigue. Also, keep in mind that all KAGE products come with a 2-year structural warranty, too.
Mow Faster For Longer
The walk-behind remains far superior in many ways. The most important difference is standing versus sitting. Sit for 8 to 9 hours for 4, 5 or even 6 days a week during the busy times of the year and your back will be shot. The ill effects of sitting on such equipment in a work environment where your neck and spine take repeated jolts can stick with you well into your later years.
Mowing along shrubs and around trees like low evergreens with a walk-behind is still better because the mower deck easily runs under those areas and the operator can comfortably step off the sulky to avoid branches.
Walk-behinds are also known for holding a straight line along slopes. Standers and ZTRs lose grip and tend to slip with inability to probably transfer – essentially the same response as a conventional riding mower.
At the end of the day, we’ll talk about what we believe is the best option available on the market because we have a genuine interest seeing you succeed. Whatever type of commercial mower sulky you choose to go with, make sure it’s the right fit for the types of properties you maintain.
