The Two In One Advantage

Snow Pushers made by Arctic Sectional, Pro-Tech, Daniels, Avalanche, Scoop Dogg, SnowWolf and others are common in the snow removal industry. Kage Innovation has introduced the SnowKage System, a two in one tool that combines angle plowing, and snow pushing into one fast and seamless operation. Go back and forth from angle plowing to snow pushing …. In seconds, without leaving the cab! Not only are the snow pushers mentioned earlier just fixed pushers, many of them lack the ability to scrape or follow contours. The Kage System scrapes, oscillates, back-drags and stacks with ease.

Common Sno Pushers Have Many Drawbacks

Sno Pushers such as the popular ones made by Scoop Dogg, Avalanche, and Pro-Tech utilize a rubber cutting edge that does not scrape very well. In fact, as the pusher transverses the plowing surface, it can even leave a compacted layer behind that requires additional scraping or salt to remove it. Some of these companies have tried to improve upon this by adapting IST (Ice Scraping Technology), steel trip edges, and other mechanisms that are really just a band-aide fix to the real problem. Most pushers have fixed side plates that help contain the snow on the ends. These fixed side plates are immovable, and since they can’t move up and down, they actually hold the moldboard and cutting edge off the pavement. This prevents the cutting edge from really doing its job. Furthermore, with a fixed pusher of this type, cleanup along curbs becomes a chore, if not ‘impossible’ since the side plates hinder a close encounter with the edge of the curb. What?! No angle?! The basic sno pusher cannot angle. This means that once the pusher box fills up with snow, it starts to spill out both ends of the sno pusher leaving trails. If you were able to angle the pusher to one side, and contain the spillage to the direction in which you are moving the snow, you would not have to go back and clean up the dribbles! Also, imagine how much more maneuverable your pusher and machine would become if you were able to angle your pusher – guiding massive piles of snow in-between cars, around corners and cul-de-sacs!

  • No Pusher Scraping
  • No Pusher Angling
  • No Pusher Oscillation
  • No Pusher Cleanup along curbs

Kage Snow Pusher Two In One Tool

The Kage System is better at pushing snow because it combines all of the versatility of the angle plow, with the massive snow-moving attack of the sno pusher. Since the box sides are movably – attached to the plow, this allows you to put down pressure directly to the cutting edge of the moldboard, scraping cleanly as you go. Angle the plow – or pusher – as you please. Now you can windrow or guide large piles of snow around obstacles without spillage. Cleanup along curbs? No problem! Remove the SnowKage pusher box from the Kage Blade, and trim curbs with just the angle plow.

In summary, the Kage System is the best of both worlds. Now you can angle plow when that is the fastest thing to do, or grab your Snow Kage pusher box when you need to move mass quantities of white stuff and sno push it off the parking lot.
